Activities and Events

Congregation Beth Shalom offers a range of religious, educational, social, and cultural activities. In addition to a full slate of services on High Holidays, we hold Shabbat services (on Friday nights and Saturday mornings) and special activities geared to other holidays, such as Shavuot learning. We celebrate Hanukkah and Purim with large parties and join together for our community second Seder on Passover. We also offer Bar and Bat Mitzvah preparation.

Adult Education offerings include regular book discussions, film showings, theater trips, talks of interest by members of the congregation, and “Three Opinions: Learning with the Rabbi.”

The fall season is greeted with our annual congregational picnic, and we meet for informal potluck dinners throughout the year.
