High Holy Days services for 2018 (5779) will be held at the Congregation Beth Shalom building (820 Russell Road, DeKalb, IL). All services will be led by Rabbi Maralee Gordon, assisted by Cantorial Soloist Zach Weiss. Erev Rosh HaShanah and Kol Nidrei services will feature our own Koleynu choir under the direction of Harvey Blau.
No tickets are needed for any of the High Holy Days services. All are welcome to worship with us at no charge. Non-members, friends, and family members who would like to make a High Holy Days donation to the Congregation should see the Donate page.

Erev Rosh Hashanah (the Koleynu choir will sing, and there will be a Kiddush immediately following)
- Monday, Sept. 10, 9:30 a.m.
Morning services for Rosh Hashanah, including the Torah service and the blowing of the shofar.
- Tuesday, Sept. 11, 10:00 a.m.
The second day’s morning service is less formal and includes a Torah discussion and the blowing of the shofar.
- Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2018, 7 p.m.
Kol Nidre service with our Koleynu choir singing.
- Wednesday, Sept. 19, 9:30 a.m.
Yom Kippur morning services, including the Torah service and the Yizkor memorial service.
- Wednesday, Sept. 19, 5 p.m.
Minchah and Neilah services. The final shofar blast will take place about 7 p.m.
